Cutoff Crafts Exclusive Games
1. Fact or Fake
Everyone Explode Now! Is it a real move on a card? Or a fake one? That’s right, it’s real! In fact, it is a move that both Forretress and Drifblim can use. There are over 18,000 different English pokémon cards that have been made. Each pokemon from the TCG has one or two moves. These moves have very unique names, some of which are quite silly. The goal of Fact or Fake? is to decipher which move names are real and which have been made up by Cutoff Crafts. If a player gets their question right, they move on to the next round. Get a single question wrong, and the player is eliminated! The final winner gets a fun full art card to take home.
2. Sleeve Extravaganza
Pokémon fans know protecting their cards is pretty important. A great way to do that is to sleeve the cards so that they don’t get damaged as easily. Sleeve Extravaganza puts players’ sleeving skills to the test! It’s also a fantastic way to walk home with a ton of new cards! Cutoff Crafts will be providing stacks of pokémon cards and tons of official sleeves. Players go head to head in an elimination style tournament. Players have to sleeve their cards faster than their opponent. Each card they sleeve they get to keep. Fail to keep up and you still get to keep every single card you have sleeved. Winners of each round move on to play the next. The grand prize is a beautiful card!
3. Trivia
Do you know what color Pikachu is? Yep, he’s yellow. Cutoff Crafts has a whole new batch of Trivia questions ready for players to test their knowledge. Throughout the day, someone from Cutoff Crafts will approach players with trivia questions ranging from very easy all the way to super hard. Get the question right and the player gets a brand new pokémon card for their collection. Prize cards can be reverse holo, holo, ex, V, GX, or even a black star promo!
4. HP Battle
Two players go head to head in a sudden death style tournament. Cards are provided face down on the table. Both players randomly draw a Pokémon card. The one with the highest hit points stays, to fight the next challenger. The one who failed still gets to keep their drawn Pokémon card. In the end, the last person standing wins the prize. The longer a person can stay at the table, the more cards they can win… but the more likely they are to be stricken down and have someone take their place.
5. Find the Pikachu
We place over 500 cards face down on a table. There is one Pikachu card in the lot. Players will circle the table with one hand behind their back. When Ahsoka yells, "Find that Pikachu!", the players will begin turning cards around trying to find the Pikachu. If the card is not a Pikachu it is placed face down back in the pile. The person who finds the Pikachu yells, "Pikachu!" That person wins an amazing Pikachu card! All other players get to pick one card from the pile to keep as a prize for playing.
6. Find the Energy
Cutoff Crafts will place several energy cards face down on a table. Players will circle the table with one hand behind their back. When Ahsoka yells, "Gotta Catch Them All!", players will start turning over cards. Their goal is to be the first to collect 9 different Energy cards. When they collect all 9 energy cards, the raise their hand and shout, "Caught them all!" The winner walks away with a holo energy card!
6. Who's in the Pokeball?
At the beginning of the day, we will show everyone a pokeball. Inside is a Pokémon card donated by Curated Gems. Players will be given a chance throughout the day to guess the Pokémon inside the ball. Occasionally, we will give hints about the Pokemon in the pokeball and allow players to make another guess. This game will continue until someone guesses the Pokémon inside. The person who guesses correctly wins the card inside!
7. Name That Pokemon
Name That Pokemon is a game where players have a chance to win a fun reverse holo, holo, or cool art card! Michelle will provide a word scramble, first and last letter, or other word puzzles players have to solve. The person with the most correct answers at the end of the game wins the first place prize card! We will also have a second and third place prize card! Must be present to win!
8. Who's That Pokemon
We will show you a shadow of a pokemon. Guess the correct pokemon and win a card! It is that easy! All are welcome to play!
9. Don't Say Pokeball
This game is simple, Ahsoka and Michelle cannot say "Pokeball". If we say it, the first person to raise their hand and call us out gets a random Pokeball sticker. Players must collect different Pokeball stickers to win a prize! The more you collect the better the prize!
In order to play: Make a purchase at our booth and receive the Pokeball Card. Then start listening and collecting.
10. Team Rocket Battles
Each Pokemon fan will receive three energy cards when they arrive: 1 fire, 1 water, and 1 grass. Every now and then, Team Rocket will show their evil hand and battle a random player.
How to battle
- Each player will secretly select an energy.
- On the count of 3, each player shows their energy card
- If the Team Rocket energy card beats the players energy card, Team Rocket will keep the players energy card played
- If the player wins the battle, the player gets to take a random pokemon card from Team Rocket!
- If a player runs out of energy cards, they can visit the Pokemon Center to get another set of energy cards for $5.
We will also have the option for players to buy a Fairy Energy card. The Fairy Energy is spent fighting off Team Rocket's wicked ways. (The player hands over the Fairy Energy Card). Victorious, the player gets to choose a Pokemon card they wish to rescue from the villainous Team Rocket! This means, it isn't random!
What energy will win in battle:
- Fire beats Grass
- Grass beats Water
- Water beats Fire
- Fairy fights off Team Rocket for an Instant Win
11. Coloring Page Contest
We will also be hosting a coloring page contest! There will be one winner per category. Each winner will receive a Japanese Booster Pack!
The categories are by age:
- 4-12,
- 13-17,
- and 18+
The winner will be announced at the end of the day and you must be present to win.
12. Pokemon Pack Battle Tournament
Our Pokemon Pack Battle Tournament is a special game for all the Pokemon fans. This game requires a ticket to play. Tickets can be purchased here!
How this works:
- Purchase a Cutoff Crafts' Pack Battle Tournament Entry Ticket. Every Battler needs a ticket.
- Come to our Pokémon Winter Celebration.
- At 2pm we will start checking tickets and preparing for the Pack Battle Tournament! All players must be checked in and ready to battle by 2:29pm. The Battle will start at 2:30pm!
- Cutoff Crafts will supply the packs for each battle.
How to play Cutoff Crafts' Pack Battle Tournament:
- Players will sit across or next to each other.
- A member of Cutoff Crafts will give each player a pack. Packs will start with Trick or Trades and could increase in value with each round. The final battle will feature a Prismatic Evolutions pack. (Packs are subject to change)
- Once a member of Cutoff Crafts says "Battle", players will rip open their packs and display their cards. A member of Cutoff Crafts will decide who is the winner using a ranking sheet we will have available. The player with the top card wins the battle and moves onto the next round. The player who did not win, steps away. All players keep the cards they open. Yes, that means if you pull a crazy $1000 card, it is yours.
- The next round will be the same. Players will face off with a sealed pack of Pokémon cards. This will continue until one player remains. The last remaining player will be declared the Winning Battler and receive The Grand Prize!
The grand prize for our April 18, 2026 Spring Pokemon Celebration is the Greminja EX and Kingdra EX Special Collection Box!
If we reach 200 players, the prize will include the Ascended Heroes Pokemon Center ETB!!
